Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of The Fair Trader Cooperative website and the purchase of products from TransEuro Wholesale Limited (Registration Number; 13799287), a UK-registered business based in London. By placing an order with The Fair Trader Cooperative, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Our operations serve customers across the United Kingdom, Europe and, where applicable, other international destinations.
Products and Orders
- Product Range: We supply block salt, table salt, granular salt, whole salt, food-grade PDV salt and food-grade sea salt. Product availability may vary and is subject to change.
- Order Process: Orders can be placed via our website. Minimum order quantity is 10kg, with no maximum. Bulk and pallet quantities are available.
- Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP and include applicable VAT for UK orders. European and international customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other local charges.
- Order Confirmation: Orders are confirmed by email. An order is only considered accepted when confirmation is sent.
Payment
- Payment methods accepted include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Payment must be cleared prior to dispatch.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders if payment cannot be verified or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
Delivery
- UK Delivery: Mainland UK delivery is free, with estimated timelines of 3–7 working days. Scotland, Ireland and Isle of Man delivery is free within 7–10 working days.
- International Delivery: Shipping is available to Europe and other global locations at customer expense. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance and local regulations.
- Risk: Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery. Customers must inspect goods and report any damage within 48 hours.
Returns and Refunds
- UK customers may return unopened goods within 14 days of delivery. A £50 collection fee applies if goods are collected; returns dropped off at our warehouse are free.
- No returns are accepted for opened, used or damaged packaging.
- International orders are non-refundable.
- Claims for damaged goods must include supporting photographs and be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
Use of Website
- Users agree to use the website for lawful purposes only.
- Copying, reproducing or distributing content without permission is prohibited.
- We may suspend access for users engaging in misuse or illegal activity.
Limitation of Liability
- The Fair Trader Cooperative is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.
- While we make reasonable efforts to ensure product availability, we do not guarantee continuous supply or uninterrupted delivery.
- Delivery timelines for international orders are estimates and subject to delays beyond our control.

All content on the website, including text, images, logos and branding, is the property of The Fair Trader Cooperative or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from orders, deliveries or website use are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Fair Trader Cooperative reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website and will apply from the date of publication.
